What games do you enjoy playing with you loved ones?
For me it's silly party games like Mario Party or Rockband and Guitar Hero.
Or are they more the 'back seat gamer' type?

Me and the missus play New Super Mario Bros Wii. Until I get angry at cheap deaths and shout at the TV.
Also, some LittleBigPlanet… Until I get irritated when she can't get up a certain part.
I'm such an easy person to get along with!

My wife likes to play the GH/RB games, but only the singing, she's had a go at lips, but there's not many songs on there she likes, she also likes the scene it games, but gets annoyed that she can't beat me, but she's more at home on the DS playing Bookworm and Brain Training.

The wife and i play lips, rockband (she has to be on drums) and the scene it games, i don't think she will ever be into games like GoW2 because she was absolutely disgusted with the violence in that game lol

My other half isn't interested in any of the games I play, she is more likely to pick up the DS and have a spin on pretty much anything on there. I think she is just happy letting me get on with it while she finishes yet another book.

Lego games are great to play on co-op
I do like playing serious games on my own aswell though like RPGs.
When we had the gamecube set up we used to also play wrestling games together

My wife pretty much hates everything gaming related, with exception of puzzle/brain trainers, and singing games, she cannot stand how sick and twisted (her words) are, and says anybody who plays them are all sick.

My lady friend helps out where she can … gaining trophies on Mahjong and Zuma !
She plays the drums on RB : The Beatles and GH5 ! She also sings various Singstar discs …
I don't mind shouting from the Midlife Gamer.net rooftop that I love her

They're not too pleased with the Wii players though…

Thanks for that. Just spat a mouthful of peppermint tea over the monitor!
When my bro in law and sis in law come round for Wii game's night I shall have to make sure the Wiimote is unsheathed to ensure they don't have to carry out a round of hail marys aftewards

There was an old comedian called Jimmy Cricket, who used to put L/R on his wellies you should try the same but tattoo it on your hands, or wear gloves.

same here. only thing we really have ever played together is Animal Crossing, but then we were fighting over who got the DS to have a go.

Me and Jay used to argue over the DS for Animal Crossing but then Jay got bored of it and also got a shiney new DS Lite from America and later I got a shiney new DSi so no arguments there no more. He can play his Luminous Arc where I can get onto more serious matters like catching fish and bugs and getting a bigger house. And saving the world from the Heartless on Kingdom Hearts <3

The usual Rock Band/Guitar Hero, also Scene It and Peggle.
Virtua Fighter and Mario Kart threatened to ruin our relationship…
