A naughty friend of mine already has it and finished it, 6-8 hours tops, easier than the first, but just as good.

Hmm 6-8 hours eh? Seems like they're banking a lot on the multiplayer.
To me, multiplayer always plays second fiddle to the singleplayer experience, lord knows theres enough FPS multiplayer games about, I doubt this will add something new to the genre.
Maybe worth a rental.

I was gonna pick it up on the PS3, not so sure now, may still do, but there's other games that seem more worthy of my hard earned (!) dosh.

I'm torn on the choice of platform for this, I was going to go PS3 but if the multiplayer takes off I'd probably prefer the 360.
Which ever way, I'm guessing its going to be a solid and enjoyable romp for a good few hours.

Not a day one purchase for me on account of a number of reasons, but non the less I'm looking forward to seeing what Rapture has to offer this time around. I'm steering clear of all info so as not to spoil the experience….if I ever get to experience it!
