We had an idea to try a GTA4 night…..

only just got GTA 4 but not really played it yet, in my pile of shame.
not got the DLC episodes, but might be up for a GTA night, what is it like online?

It can be a lot of fun, but Biscuit and I are going to jump in there and see what game options are the best.
Saying that though, even the lobby system (ie Libery City) can be fun for shits and giggles.

Do you need to have the GTA4 disc or can you go online with others using the DLC disc? I traded the original in ages ago after I finished the story line.

I don't know but seen as how the DLC disc has Liberty City built onto it, I don't see why it wouldn't allow you to access multiplayer.
Hang on. From IGN's review.
"There's more than 20 hours of gameplay to be had here, just on the single-player missions alone. There are also tons of side quests and distractions as well as multiplayer."

I've only got GTA4 as well no extras but I'd be up for it. I don't think I ever really went online with it and never got to far in the campaign either, well and truely part of my pile of shame…

Yes last time we tried GTA4 me and Guernica were laughing like school girls, just blowing each other up in the lobby.
I do believe Matt has a video of 8 of us all jumping off the empire state building all at once.
With a bit of pissing about with the options we can invent our own games!
(Trying to jump over a helicopter in a car, was much fun)
GTA Thursdays sounds good so far, Matt if your around tonight early before everyone jumps into
Undead Tuesday perhaps we could take a quick look see?

Just in case this happens I picked up another copy. I only have the Lost and Damned DLC but have been meaning to get Gay Tony for a while so this is a good excuse. I noticed that Amazon are doing the Episodes From Liberty City disc for £11.59 which I think is cheaper than downloading just one of the extra episodes if you want em.

I've got the DLC disc but sold the original GTA IV. I like to play multiplayer on The Ballad of Gay Tony 'cos the choppers are easier to control and the guns are cool. Exploding sniper rifle shells anybody? Oh yeah, it's got the base jumping in it too!!!
